Hot Yoga: Senses

Hear instructor Natascha Hardt talk about the benefits of participating in Senses’ regular yoga sequence
Why does Senses have its own Hot Yoga sequence?
The advantage of a fixed sequence of yoga poses is that you build a good routine and can track your progress from session to session.
You’ll feel your body becoming stronger and more flexible each time. Your balance and endurance improve, and you gain more resilience.
When the poses in the sequence are familiar to you, you can practice more meditatively and focused, experiencing more clarity and mental resilience in your practice. Knowing the poses in the sequence allows you to delve into the details, adjusting yourself to find comfort in the pose and train without getting injured.
If you come often, you and your yoga teacher will get to know each other better, and you can get help with your challenges, continually evolving in your yoga practice.
How often should I participate?
You’ll feel a positive effect on your body and mind if you come 1-2 times a week.
You can attend daily or 5-6 days a week, but avoid pushing yourself. 1-2 rest days a week are recommended.
What do I gain from practicing the fixed sequence?
Senses’ sequence is particularly good for the back. You learn good new habits for your back, such as using your legs, glutes, and core optimally when bending forward and standing up. Habits you can carry into everyday life to avoid back pain. You become stronger in your legs, glutes, arms, and core. You train your balance and concentration. You become more flexible in your hamstrings, hips, and shoulders, achieving increased well-being in the body and gaining more energy.
Can I participate even if I’m new?
The poses in the sequence provide a good basic introduction to yoga.
Everyone can participate. If you are brand new, give yourself some time to learn. Be patient and loving and participate without pushing yourself.
If you are experienced, you will be challenged in strength, balance, and concentration.
What are the thoughts about the composition?
The sequence’s order of poses is progressive in preparing the body for gradually more challenging poses. The different poses ensure that the entire body is moved, strengthened, and stretched in all directions. You will be challenged and warm up.
Why should I participate?
The brain loves what is familiar. It is said that a new habit is formed by repeating the new thing ten times. Build a good habit for your body and mind by participating in Senses’ regular sequence ten times. Feel the effect on your body and your everyday life and how easy it is to create new healthy habits in your life, just through patience and regular repetition ten times.
