Eva Maria Fink
What do you emphasize in your classes?
Mind – body – connection. Moving meditation, feeling strong and taking care of the body, awareness, being in the moment, flowing, gratitude, and challenging yourself.
What do you want your students to gain from a class with you?
Taking time for yourself and stepping on your mat to move your body and connect with your mind and soul. Being in the moment and challenging yourself, feeling strong and healthy while enjoying a good practice that calms your mind and does something good for you. Being grateful to be able to move your body and accepting that every practice and every class is different for yourself and your body.
What do you like about Senses?
I love the energy and the atmosphere when you enter the studio. The people welcome you with openness and understanding as well as the educated and different teachers and classes Senses offers. I remember the first time I went to a class and told myself that one day I want to work at Senses and teach classes – here I am 🙂
What motivates you to teach?
I have always loved to move my body – I found out that moving my body has so many positive effects on your mind, soul and body connection. Moving your body is meditation that allows you to forget about all your responsibilities and be present in the moment – connecting with yourself and the others. Practicing yoga for so many years has taught me a lot about life as well, but teaching yoga became my passion. Sharing the practice with others fulfils me in so many ways and I love to give that energy and mindset to the students who take part in my class.
