Palle Onsberg Rahbek

What do you emphasize in your teaching?
I guide classes where playful elements are included (which can also be intense) to awaken the curiosity and determination of the inner child, mixed with humor. Additionally, I combine teaching with techniques that support a sustainable practice.

What do you hope your students will take away from a class with you?
An experience of well-being and connection to their own body, and better mental and emotional balance.

What do you particularly like about Senses?
The great colleagues, yogis, and I love the Senses studios, which, in addition to offering a wide range of movement classes, always appear luxurious with an atmosphere reminiscent of a big city like New York. Last but not least, I have been very happy to participate in Senses’ yoga teacher training programs, with highly competent instructors.

What motivates you to teach?
As a yoga teacher, the greatest motivation is the connection with the students and following them on their yoga journey.

“The education was the starting point for teaching Hatha Yoga and Hot Yoga. Actually, I already had a 100-hour foundational training, but this time, I felt that I was so well-educated that I gained the confidence to teach. Natascha and Michael emphasized a thorough introduction to the basic postures and safety in teaching others, which made me feel secure as an instructor. I still heavily rely on the training I received during the course.”
“I can recommend you participate in the course if you’re interested in developing your own practice and eventually teaching.”

– Steen, participant at Senses 100 hours yoga education
basic education i 2015 – 2016

“I could feel that there was a push in my practice, and I wanted to seize that momentum and build on it, just for my own sake. But after I taught a class for the first time, I could feel that teaching was what I was meant to do with my foundational training.”

– Anna, participant at Senses 100 hour yoga education
basic education in 2019 – 2020

“At no point, neither towards my instructors nor towards the others in the class, have I felt the need to perform, which has provided me with the best conditions for learning

It’s wonderful to delve into poses in such high detail with others who find yoga as amazing as I do. The immersion combined with the playful approach has been incredibly enriching for me – I’ve taken a leap in my understanding of myself and my own practice.

It’s as if the training has opened up a completely new, unexplored approach to yoga for me.”
