What motivates you to teach?

My focus in life, and as a yoga teacher, is to share some of the many techniques and methods of yoga for a healthy and balanced life, both mentally and physically. I love experiencing the difference I see and feel in students before and after a class.

What motivates you to keep yourself going?

Primarily, having established routines, and also, I can’t imagine a life without my yoga practice. Yoga has become a consistent part of how I exist in life.

What do you emphasize in your teaching?

As a teacher, I emphasize good alignment both physically and mentally, variation in movement patterns, and that the experience is fun, challenging, and rewarding for participants at all levels. I often play music in my classes and create good playlists. I also emphasize that yoga is relevant beyond the mat.

What do you particularly like about Senses?

The diverse range of classes offers varied opportunities for movement of the body, and as an aesthete, I appreciate the luxurious surroundings.

Jacqueline has studied yoga internationally as well as in Denmark. She holds a 500-hour registered yoga teacher training in Anusara and Rasa yoga, both of which are grounded in a deep philosophical and practical approach to seeing everything as an expression of life.

In addition to being a yoga teacher, Jacqueline has a master’s degree in psychology and works in business psychology consultation and research.
