What do you emphasize in your classes?
I put the emphasis on the breath because it tells a story. If we are breathing fast, we can exhale longer and deeper. To incorporate this with the movement is the first step to create awareness of the mind-body connection.
What do want your students to gain from a class with you?
The feeling that they have done the best they could today to support their body and their circumstances. The feeling that they have become a stronger version of themselves both physically and mentally.
What do you like about Senses?
I like the variety of classes that they offer, how organized it is as a yoga studio and the coziness you feel when you step inside.
What motivates you to teach?
It thrives me to build the connection between mind and body. Everyday our circumstances change, so do our yoga practice. I like the approach of using yoga as a tool to support the way we feel.
